He is a musician and plastic artist born and living in Río Cuarto, Argentina.

He divides his daily work between professional choir conducting, music teaching and watercolor painting.

As a musician, he is the director of the “Camerata Vocal Arsis” and the “Cantoría San Ignacio” casts with which he has made numerous tours and received national and international awards and distinctions.

He is a Professor at the Julian Aguirre Superior Conservatory of Music in Rio Cuarto and at the Villa Mercedes - San Luis Institute of Continuing Teacher Training.

As a composer he has written several choral works which are published in GCC editions and in Santa Barbara Music Publishing -USA.

As a watercolorist defines himself as a self-taught.

He has taken courses with Pito Campos (Argentina), Alvaro Castagnet (Uruguay) and Lena Gemzoe (Denmark).

Juan Ignacio Noroña creates from a free imprint, allowing water and pigments to form the identity of paintings. Most of them are “abstract landscape evocations”.
